The First Volume Is Complete
This one feels good to write.
Volume One of World Affinity The Radiant Traveler Series is officially finished and out in the world. Ebook, paperback, and now audiobook. All four books, complete as a single arc, the way it was always meant to be read.
That alone feels like something worth pausing for.
If you’ve been here since Book One, thank you. Truly. If you found the series somewhere along the way, I’m glad you’re here. These books were written slowly, carefully, and with a lot of heart. Seeing the full first volume finished feels a little like setting a heavy pack down after a long road.
And the road isn’t over. Not by a long shot.
I’m deep into Book Five now and already past the halfway point. The world is expanding. Old threads are starting to pull tight. New ones are forming quietly in the background. No spoilers of course. Some of my favorite scenes in the entire series live in this next stretch.
Today, while working, I found myself back in one of those moments that reminds me why I love writing this story in the first place. A quiet scene. A dream. The kind that doesn’t explain everything ya know, but leaves you thinking about it long after.
Here’s a small snip from what I worked on today.
( For the first time since the crucible cooled, my hands stopped shaking.
She smiled. “Glad your craft worked. One for me?”
I nodded. “Pick one. Any you like. Just try to wear it if anything strange happens.”
She stood, resting her hand on mine for a moment as she chose. “This one’s a moose?”
“Deer,” I said, grinning. “Red deer. Popular on the plains. Off to sleep then?”
“Yeah. I want to be ready for tomorrow. Sleep well.”
After she left, I checked my stats, tossed another log on the fire, and set a teapot to boil.
“Which nighttime blend goes with exhaustion and ghosts?” I muttered.
Chamomile, spearmint, and lemongrass. Perfect. )
I’d love to hear from you.
What do you want to see more of as the story continues? Quiet character moments, crafting and systems, travel, politics, strange magic, massive beat downs, or all of it tangled together?
Who’s your favorite character so far?
And if you were dropped into this world tomorrow, what affinity set do you think you’d end up with?
How would the Mana you choose manifest?

Thank you for reading, listening, and sharing this journey with me. More is coming. I promise.
